Treat Your Feet

Here's a bingo brain teaser for all you online players. What would you say is the most neglected part of your body? That's right, it's your feet. OK so the clue's in the title but while the rest of our body is regularly scrubbed and slathered in pretty smelling lotions and potions, most of us forget about out tootsies – and they're the ones who get the most grief!

Shoved into pointy stilettos or baked in thick socks and boots, our feet seem to get the cold shoulder during the winter months. The only respite they get is when we put them up and play a game or two of bingo! So when summer comes and it's time to show them off in flip flops, it's no wonder they're in a rather a bad way.

But this online bingo site is determined to see all that changes. That's why Littlewoods Bingo brings you all the products and procedures you'll need to get your trotters buffed and polished and ready for the beach.

Soak 'em up

Now we know that there's barely enough time to get all those daily tasks done - there's certainly not enough time to playing all the online bingo you really want to! – so the idea of taking a time out and soaking your feet for 10 minutes seems all but a pleasant thought. Why not kill two birds with one stone and soak your feet while you play a game of online bingo?

You should never buff your feet or nails when they are dry so fill a bowl with lukewarm water and remove any polish on your toenails. Then just relax for 5-10 minutes or so.

Littlewoods Bingo Top Tip: Add either a splash of milk to the water or some sea salt. Milk is a natural source of nourishment so is perfect to soften up your feet a little bit more. Sea salt is like nature's own foot scrub and starts working on those stubborn rough patches.

Start a-scrubbing

After a nice soak, it's time to grab your pumice stone and foot scrub – Littlewoods Bingo loves The Sanctuary Foot Salt Scrub - and get to work on those hard skin areas. Smother your foot with your preferred product and massage. Then reach for your buffer and start scrubbing Be gentle at first otherwise you run the risk of ripping the skin then gradually start to add more pressure. Remember to rinse off any dead skin as you go.

Littlewoods Bingo Top Tip: Like your feet, you should never work with a dry pumice stone so it's a good idea to soak the stone before use to slightly soften it. Ten minutes should do it.

Soften Up

Once your feet are all rinsed clean of the scrub, pat dry (remember to dry in between all your toes to avoid athletes foot and such like. Now it's time to moisturise. When it comes to picking a moisturiser, go for a non-greasy type. Here at Littlewoods Bingo, we have two favourites both available online and on the high street. The Dr. Scholl range is great and we particularly love Pedicure Essentials Cooling Peppermint Foot and Leg Lotion and Pedicure Essentials Deodorising and Moisturising Cream.

Littlewoods Bingo top tip: If your feet are really dried out and dehydrated, then you should get yourself some bed socks! Don't laugh, moisturise just before you go to bed, pop on your socks and voila, trapped in moisture and softer feet. Littlewoods Bingo loves Boots Gorgeous Feet Outstanding Overnight Rescue.
