Summer is definitely here bingo fans and soon it will be that time of year where we’re lounging around on the beach trying to catch a few rays and get that sun kissed look, but stripping off in public with very little left to the imagination can be a daunting task but fear not bingo fans as here’s our guide to finding the best swimwear to suit your shape!
If you’re busty...
If you’re blessed in the bust department then the key to looking good on the beach is the right support. Pick bikini’s with underwired tops or halternecks with thick straps to prevent gravity from taking over. A plunging v-neck style on a one-piece will also elongate the body, showing a bit of cleavage while drawing attention away from a full bust.
If you’re small on top...
If you’ve got boyish curves then create some shape with clever bikinis to give the illusion of a fuller bust. Triangle bikinis with details like ruffles and bold printed bikinis are definitely your friend and halternecks will also give you some added lift.
If you’ve got a bit of a belly...
If you’re a bit of an apple body shape and are sporting a bit of a belly then it’s all about control swimwear and clever detailing to draw the eye away from your midsection. One piece’s with hidden control panels are perfect for holding in tummies and ruched detailing will distract the eye from focussing on your belly. A bold pattern on the top part of the swimwear will also draw attention to your bust and away from your tummy.
If you’ve got a big bum...
If you’re pear shaped or have a more than ample bottom then go for swimwear with more detail around the bust, so think bold patterns and brighter colours on top, with darker colours on the bottom to detract attention. Halterneck styles can draw attention to your bust as well, while strapless swimsuits are perfect for pear shapes because they balance out your figure. Avoid any swimwear that cannot support your bottom half and too-tight swimwear that will leave ugly red marks when it digs in.
If you’ve got curves...
If you’re curvy then think yourself lucky because you’re blessed with being able to wear a variety of swimwear and still manage to look good. Halternecks are curve-friendly so whether it’s a bikini or one-piece it’ll show off your best assets. Styles that have detailing around the waist – so belted, ruche and patterned styles will cinch in your waist while accentuating the best of your curves.
