Being beautiful can be expensive, and yes of course we’re all beautiful in our own special way but sometimes Mother Nature needs a bit of a push! Well luckily for you, your friends here at Littlewoods Bingo are willing to share their top secret money-saving beauty tips, so you can put that purse away and be beautiful for next to nothing!

Top 5 Money-Saving Beauty Tips

1. Dried Up Mascara

It’s a pain, just as you’re getting ready for a night on the town, your mascara has totally dried up, and no matter how hard you try, it comes out clumpy and horrible. Get that bottle dunked into a mug of warm water (make sure you keep the lid on!) and leave it there for a couple of minutes. The warm water will melt the liquid inside the bottle and your mascara will return to its original glory. You’ll have luscious lashes after all!

2. No Conditioner

Why is it that conditioner always runs out before shampoo? Here at bingo HQ we want to make the most of the BOGOF offers at the supermarket so we want to buy both shampoo and conditioner at once! If you find yourself stuck without conditioner and you know your hair has got to have it, you can substitute it with some fabric softener. Trust us; your hair won’t mind just this once!

3. Dry, Chapped Hands

Now that summer is on its way (yay!) we know many of our bingo buddies will have this annoying problem. Many hand creams don’t seem to have the intensity needed to keep your hands nice and smooth. For an intensive moisturising treatment for your hands, after all you’d do it for your face and hair, apply a face mask to your hands, leave on for as long as possible, wash off and you’ll have baby soft hands for days!

4. Crumpled-Up Clothes

Yes, we’ll admit it; we’re lazy when it comes to ironing. Your friends at Littlewoods bingo have heard an urban legend that some people enjoy it, this scares us. Sometimes we’re not quite as organised as we’d like to be and that glam outfit we had lined up for Saturday night ends up on the floor and, shock horror, gets a bit creased. Now, if you don’t fancy lugging out the ironing board, our top tip is this: switch on the hair straighteners and use them to quick-fix any creases! We know – genius! Don’t do it all the time though, you can’t get out of the ironing for that long!

5. Price Labels

Price labels on the bottom of shoes that never want to come off are probably one of our worst enemies. They just don’t seem to budge and they wreck our nails in our attempts in vain to get them off. Here’s the tip, bingo fans, blast the bottom of your shoe with a hairdryer, this heats up the glue that sticks the label to your shoe and tah dah! – the label miraculously peels off!
