Bingo Days Out

Spring Outings

We’ve finally had a little sunshine, so here at Littlewoods Bingo we’ve got our fingers crossed for a few more rays so we can try out these great Spring outings.

There’s something for everyone, so whether you love the great outdoors, or you are looking for a way to keep the kids entertaining, read on for some more great bingo Days Out.

Adventure Sports in North Wales

Let the big kid in you loose, with some fun escapades in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Adventure North Wales in Gwynedd specialise in short family breaks that let you try rock climbing, mountain biking and white water rafting. Mums and dads are encouraged to take part as much as the kids, so bring some old clothes and a dose of courage.

Three nights in a five-star cottage, including three activities, starts from £250 for a family of four. Kids have to be 12 and over.

For more information on setting your pulses racing in Wales, visit the Adventure North Wales website.

Cheap Break in the National Forest

Stay in Britain’s newest youth hostel (no, you don’t have to be a youth!) in Britain’s newest forest. Sounds all spangly doesn’t it bingo buddies? The National Forest, near Burton-on-Trent is beautiful in its own right, but the close proximity to the Rosliston Forestry Centre clinches it for us.

Here you can try your hand at woodland combat, archery and pond dipping. All sure to improve your hand-eye coordination for that triumphant return to our bingo games.

Swadlincote Ski and Snowboard Centre is also worth a visit, with excellent facilities and the chance to tackle the big slopes without leaving the UK.

Spend the Night in a Yurt

‘What on Earth is a yurt’ we hear you cry? Well these traditional Mongolian tents put a new spin on the family camping holiday. They sleep up to 8 people and even include Ikea-esque furniture inside.

It’s the kind of luxury camping even us pampered bingo-lovers wouldn’t mind. So if you fancy a trip down to Cornwall to try something a little bit different, why not give the Yurts a whirl!

For more information and pricing, visit the Haven Holidays website.

Welcome to Toad Hall

Sticking with Cornwall (it’s just so purdy!), is the former stately home that was the inspiration for Kenneth Grahame’s Toad Hall – Fowey Hall spa hotel.

Just a short drive from other tourist attractions like the Eden Project, Newquay Aquarium and the National Seal Sanctuary, there’s something for the whole family to look forward to.

The kids in particular will be well catered for, with a club for under-eights, a pool, computer games, table tennis and beach activities (all supervised of course), leaving mum and dad to chill out (or try the giant trampoline!!!)

For more information, visit the Fowey Hall website.

On yer bike son!

Yorkshire is the setting for our final Spring outing recommendation, and we sign off in thrilling style. Get your crash helmets at the ready bingo buddies – the red route in Dalby Forest North York Moors National Park is part of the largest network of mountain bike trails in the country.

Best to give your bike the once over and check your brakes as the National Park includes 23 miles of biker heaven. There’s also a Go Ape adventure course for your little monkeys if they can’t hack the pace.

Some great ideas there, so get those holidays booked in plenty of time. Don’t forget that you can play all your favourite bingo games, numbers and slots games, right here at the best UK online bingo site around – Littlewoods Bingo!
