Play bingo now

When the kids are off from school and you’re looking for something to do as a family, you don’t always want to splash out on expensive day trips. Playing online bingo’s a great pastime but not one you can really get the kids involved in! It might seem like a pretty unappealing option at first, but museums can actually provide a really fun day out for the whole family.

It doesn’t have to be all about dusty old artefacts or pretentious pieces of modern art; these days museums can be fun and exciting places to visit that will keep the kids and you fully entertained.

Many museums are free and those which aren’t all offer concessionary rates for children, so you can have a different and entertaining day out without breaking the bank. Read on for a few suggestions of some fun museums to visit with all the family.

And, after all that family fun, if you need some quality “you-time” you can play bingo online here at Littlewoods Bingo and catch up with all your friends in the chat rooms and let them know about your family day out and swap ideas for your next fun trip!

Below are a few suggestions of museums to check out on your next family day out. We’ve tried to keep our suggestions as widely spread across the country as possible so that you can find somewhere not too far from where you live. But if there’s nothing nearby, why not check out the All Kids Family Day Trips site for something a little closer to home.

Eureka - West Yorkshire

This interactive museum has long been popular with kids due to its fully hands-on approach to science; helping children learn without them even realising it! There’s so much to do and see and, unlike many traditional museums, kids can totally interact with all the galleries and exhibits touch and play as much as you want!

The Me and My Body gallery lets young visitors find out more about how their bodies work by getting inside a giant mouth to find the wobbly teeth, playing pinball digestion and riding the skeleton bike. Living & Working Together gives children the chance to find out what it’s like to be a grown-up, with a Town Square where they can pay a visit to the bank, go shopping and fill up the car with petrol.

There’s even a play house with every room from the kitchen to the bathroom (but no computer room to play online bingo unfortunately!). For younger children there’s the Sound Garden, a giant sensory sound gallery, and Desert Discovery: a desert-themed experience. To find out more about Eureka, visit their website and while you’re online you can play Littlewoods Bingo and find out if any of your friends in the chat rooms have been to Eureka!
