Bingo Days Out

Bingo Days Out - Brilliant Beaches

It’s finally summertime bingo fans! It seems like we’ve waited all year for the sun to finally get it’s lazy self out from behind the clouds and we couldn’t be happier. When the sun has his hat on, we can’t help but smile. Of course, there will be a handful of cloudy days and, dare we say it – rain, but this is Blighty after all, bingo buddies!

On those gorgeously sunny days, you’ll want to make the most of the weather and get out of the house. Where better to go than the beautiful beaches of Britain? The UK may not be the Caribbean but as a very large island, we’ve got gorgeous shores surrounding us, so as residents of this Fair Isle, we’ve got to visit them!

Here at Littlewoods Bingo we’ve come up with the definitive guide to the best beaches in the UK so that you can enjoy a yummy 99 ice cream, maybe ride a donkey and breathe in some of that gorgeous sea air!

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Blackpool has been given a bad rap because it functions as the traditional seaside resort but this reputation has been completely overturned with miles of award winning beaches and the huge fun-factor you’ll find at the beach. Hit the Pleasure Beach and you’ll find over 125 rides from daredevil white knuckle rides to cute children’s fun rides. Watch out for the fantastic traditional Punch and Judy shows and Donkey rides.

Croyde Bay, Devon

For wannabe surfers, there’s no better place to learn than Croyde Bay. With huge waves, this is one of the best beaches in the South West. With a surf academy teaching surfing at different levels to suit your needs, you’ll be both a bingo whiz and a super surfer in no time at all. If surfing isn’t really your thing, chill out at the beach bar and take in the gorgeous surroundings.

Three Cliffs Bay, Wales

Travel through the gorgeous welsh valleys to reach the beautiful Three Cliffs Bay and soak up the sun on the tranquil and beautiful beach. You’ll be gobsmacked by the stunning views over the Gower Peninsula, but if you’re a bit scared of heights, this might be a destination to pass up. Getting down to the beach from the top of the bay is a bit of an adventure but if your stomach can handle it, you’ll be rewarded with the beauty of the bay at the bottom.

Allonby, Cumbria

Get yourself up north! (or if you’re already northern, you lucky thing, travel to this gorgeous spot.) This beautiful bay stretches for five miles of stunning sand and shingle beach. Brave the water during these hot months for a nice swim in the sea. If you’re looking for a chilled out day on the beach, look no further than Allonby. Ice cream in hand, sun shining, what more could you want?

A day at the beach is an unbeatable family day out because kids will always enjoy running about and parents can sit back, relax and watch the sun go down. Sheer bliss! When you get home, check back in with your roomies in the fabulous bingo chat rooms at Littlewoods Bingo!
